WHAT IS ACUPUNCTURE
Acupuncture is based on an ancient preventive healthcare system for all that identifies, pain and illness as signs that the body is in disharmony. There are many reasons for this emotional and physical stress, poor lifestyle or injury. Today acupuncture uses various treatment therapies to stimulate the healing process and help restore the health.

Hence those who are disabled can still receive treatment whilst in a chair and children or those who suffer with needle phobia can receive treatment without the fear of needles
At the time of your first appointment you will have a consultation, physical analysis and first treatment depending on your diagnosis. Furthermore, any necessary lifestyle or dietary advice will be given to support your ongoing treatment plan... Generally, if patients have an acute situation, only two or three treatments are needed. However, chronic conditions or longstanding illness that has existed for some time usually require treatment for as much longer.
Preventive is the key to ensure that presenting or underlying symptoms do not develop into new or chronic conditions therefore continued maintenance treatments are recommended.
